Pair of vintage mid-century armchairs TON, Halabala style, for reupholstering
A pair of mid-century bentwood armchairs, designed by Jaroslav Smidek and made in the former Czechoslovakia. This particular design - 6951 - was created as a submission to a competition run by TON in the 1960s. It was put into production and was very popular; it remains a much sought-after design to the present day. These chairs are in good structural condition: the beech frame is generally solid. The finish on the arms is lightly worn, but the issue is cosmetic only.
The upholstery is original: the fabric is intact. If you have any questions, or would like to see pictures from any other angles, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
