Vintage pair 2 Art Deco Italian Plaster Lamp by Continental Art Co, Mid Century
An exceptional pair Art Deco Table Lamp crafted by Continental Art Company during the 1950's. Continental Art Company produced some of the highest quality plaster lamps during the Mid 20th Century - All in-house out of their Chicago location. The European founder of the company was best known for his Italian influenced concepts with eclectic attributes. The lamps large base supports the unusual size proportion of this lamp perfectly. It's an elegant piece. The original shade is not included, a potential great opportunity to match this lamp to the room it's being staged within.
The original wiring is shown, it's in good condition and does not have to be rewired. The lamp works as it should and has been fully tested. The backside of the piece is marked "Continental Art Co".
Overall, this lamp is in very good condition, mild scratches are shown - There is one slight craze shown in the plaster by the switch.
